Huaying is a multilingual chinese dictionary based on Internet free resources.
It currently supports chinese to english and chinese to french.
You can search for :
- chinese, using international keyboards - pinyin
- english or french
Hua means China, Ying means hero, elite.
Huaying pictogram means China (litterate form, seal script).
The dictionary contains around 70000 chinese entries translated in english.
You can switch to chinese-french dictionary (included in the package).
It is a great tool for students, travelers to China, even beginners.

For the last few years ive been using this app, and i cant tell how many times it saved me! Its easy to use and its free! Chinese is getting easier for me to learn thanks to this app!
This FREE app is impressive (see others opinions I fully share).
And even more, is the author: no need more than one week to fix different bugs (due to new IOS version), and always, for free.

I almost couldnt believe there exists a free app like this. An excellent Chinese language learning tool for English, French, or German speakers. Most important its free. Every iPhone, iPod, and iPad owner who wish to learn Chinese langauge should download this app as soon as you can. Thanks a million to the developer of this great app. Very appreciated. Cheers!

Really simple and useful. And after some weeks I found you can download real Chinese pronunciation. Must get it!
Some bad moments
Need more work. Default search is upper case with first letter and dictionary will not give meaning. Eg pinyin words "Ai", "Xia" would not turn any meaning whereas all lower case works. In most cases it works with other words Sometimes it jumps to French, though English is checked.
Thats really helpful, since I use it, I guess anyone who are learning in Chinese language or studying Chinese language, for sure you must need this soft yep as in Chinese language we said 你必须要这个词典啊...hehe come on and dont retain yrself yep!!! :)
Many chinese english dictionary said there is pronounciation feature , but after installing , it s not the case. Pretty annoying. Now, I have to uninstalled.
Easy to use, no need to switch Eng Fr Chinese but you can just type what you want to know. It also shows you Japanese letters too (if you type them).
Useful with finding pinyin pronunciation and character checking.
My other app KTDict is pretty awesome, but it doesnt have a native narrator. I like this app because it says how to pronounce the word. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR LINGUISTS...BUT the app tends to crash a lot
